Annual Project Performance Evaluation in Niger

The project, climate-smart agricultural technologies (CSAT) for improved livelihoods and food security in Niger is financed by the Royal Norwegian Embassy, Bamako,Mali. The project is coordinated by IITA and implemented in four regions (Tillabery, Dosso, Maradi, and Zinder) in partnership with INRAN, ICRISAT, NIBIO, NMBU-Noragric, extension services, seed companies, farmers’ organizations and national NGOs. The project aims to increase farmers' productivity, in addition to improving the input/output market through facilitating collective marketing, access to credit and farm level processing, and also develop the capacity of youth and women in agribusiness.
