Baseline Study of the Black Soldier Fly (BSF) for Bicircular Economy and Sustainability Project in DRC

This project, funded by the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD) under agreement QZA-21/0195, provides an innovative solution for urban biowaste management while producing sustainable chicken and fish feed as well as organic fertilizer for smallholder poultry, aquaculture, and vegetable producers across the four target countries. In addition, the project supports climate change mitigation by reducing greenhouse gas emissions through improved waste processing and resource recovery.
